Donate to TV Star & Special Forces Veteran Competing in Ironman Challenge To Raise Funds for the CWT

Reece Dewar OAM who is competing in an Ironman Challenge to raise funds for the CWT.

Television Star, Commando Welfare Trust ambassador and Special Forces Veteran, Reece Dewar OAM, will be competing in the 2024 Sunshine Coast Ironman 70.3 on 8th September.

Reece, who was a part of Channel 10’s hit show Hunted, will be running to raise funds for the Commando Welfare Trust’s mission to support Australia’s most at-risk soldiers.

The five training deaths over the past 12 months are a reflection of the danger Special Forces soldiers face even in times when there is no conflict.

Over the past 12 months, we have gone from supporting 42 families to 47, which we expect to grow as we aim to deliver more services to our community.

We provide emergency and long-term financial support to Special Operations Command (SOCOMD) soldiers, veterans and family members where the system cannot.

SOCOMD soldiers train under extremely dangerous conditions, are disproportionately deployed into combat and are 50% more likely to experience a casualty.

By donating to Reece’s fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in supporting Australians who risk their lives daily to defend our country.

The Commando Welfare Trust is a registered charity with tax-deductible donations, with 100 per cent of the funds going to our beneficiaries.
